The new Gelato Project 10.3 release is here and marks one of the richest months of the year. New recipes, new content, new collaborations, and a new feature I’ve been waiting for a long time: a truly open space for the community.

In this article you will find a complete summary of the new features.

Open Lab: the space dedicated to community recipes

The Gelato Project is adding a new participatory section: the Gelato Project Open Lab. The idea is simple: to give ice cream makers, enthusiasts, and home geeks a chance to share a recipe that truly represents their style.

It is a concrete way to grow the project as an open laboratory, where technique meets the creativity of those who live it every day.

Podcast On The Road enters the book

The Gelato Project On The Road podcast continues to receive a beautiful response.

Tomorrow the second episode of the on the road in Emilia Romagna, recorded with Simone De Feo at Cremeria Capolinea, will be released. It is an intense and insightful conversation about ice cream, the craft and how to think about ingredients.

Inside the book you will also find summaries of the first episodes:

A way to connect theory, practice and true stories from the world of artisanal ice cream.

The Gelato Project continues to grow into an increasingly lively, technical and participatory space.

Until the next release.

The project in brief

Imagine being able to help create a book that accurately reflects your tastes and preferences in the world of ice cream… this is the Gelato Project!

The “Gelato Project” is a unique book where supporters become an integral part of the creative process. It is an ice cream recipe book that grows and evolves each month, enriched with new recipes requested by you. Each recipe is professionally balanced, making it perfect for making either at home or in the ice cream parlor. The magic of the project lies in the ability you have to request specific recipes, making the book a collective work tailored to those who support it.

How to become a supporter (buy the book)

The progress of the book is closely linked to the number of supporters and their participation. The more the number of supporters grows, the greater will be the number of recipes you will find in each update.

To purchase the book and thus become a supporter, simply purchase the product from the shop!

You convinced me, I want the book!

How to download the book (if you are already a supporter)

Once you become a supporter, you will have access to the book for 1 full year and then be able to download updates at no additional cost!

The latest version of the book can always be found in the Download section of the user area.

How to request recipes and give feedback (supporters only)

To make your requests (recipes, changes, general feedback) simply fill out the feedback form from this page. Requests sent from there automatically end up in the Kanban Board (explained below) from which I take my cue to continue working on the book!

What is planned in the next versions?

In complete transparency, you can check at any time the “Kanban Board” of the project in which you can find the incoming requests, the wish list, the “work in progress” and what is planned for the next edition.

What will be in the next versions? You will decide that 🙂 I will just try to fulfill most of your wishes, consistent with the idea of the book 😉

Do you like the book? Do you like the project?
